"We should be worried about AI," Musk reiterated during a question and answer session after the presentation. "What we're trying to do here at Tesla is make useful AI that people love and is... unequivocally good."

That’s what they all say …

Kind of reminds me of what Google’s motto used to be.

“We’ve arranged a society based on science and technology, in which nobody understands anything about science technology. Carl Sagan 1996

What, so these ones are "good" AIs and its just the rest we have to worry about?? hmmm  :)

"Musk has repeatedly warned that AI will soon become just as smart as humans and said that when it does we should all be scared because humanity’s very existence is at stake."

"he is able to say with confidence “that we’re headed toward a situation where AI is vastly smarter than humans.” He said he believes the time frame is less than five years. “That doesn’t mean everything goes to hell in five years. It just means that things get unstable or weird,” he said. "

Just keep the robots away from things with flashing lights.
