I tried goggling it but can’t get a straight answer.

One camera is powered, and uploads still image every minute to cloud. Other is battery and only turns on if motion detected or I access it.

I’m on static and not looking at changing providers currently, but just like to know what future options are, as currently trying to negotiate 12 month contract with current provider.

Thanks.

If it goes to the cloud. Then that's NAT taken care of.

NAT is only an issue for unsolicited inbound. So if it sends it somewhere first, and the app etc gets it from there. No issue

Most services are headed this way. (using a mid-point like teamviewer etc) And pretty sure anyone on 2D etc would be up in arms if it wasn't

It will depend on if your on-demand unit has realtime comms too or not.

I believe so when I was on 2d.

Yep it works no problem - I have my Ring cameras on an IoT network with no inbound access.

Yes - they sync up to a cloud service that does the connection handling. Mine has worked on both 2D and Trustpower.
