I have just replaced the screen on a Kobo e-reader.

 

Fires up nicely but not responding to touch.

 

Anyone able to help?

UPDATE:  Found that every scrap of glue on base edges must be removed before the bezel is replaced ... seems the infrared rays that control the touch-tapping are very specific in terms of operating environment.
