I've been struggling to find stock for battery Nest Protect recently. Have they been discountinued?

Wired versions in stock. I understand the AU standards now require smoke alarms to be wired for houses build after 1997. I wonder if thats it, as most stock would be AU based to our retailers?

I think you are correct in your assumption - I was in Australia recently and couldn't find the battery versions either. It is still avaliable on amazon.com

Thanks, I'll check with 2D however I'll probably just go with Cavius Wireless for now, maybe Google Nest Wired later on...
