Hey guys

i recently purchased me a 8GB flash drive for my files. Before i put anything in i noticed that it was FAT32 as opposed to my external hard drive which is NFTS. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? as ill be using my flash drive to plug into different computers to install files and so on, i was wondering weather itll be ok. Any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

I think you'll find most are FAt32 by default but NTFS will work.

If you are going to use this drive with a Mac, please be aware that it will not be writable if using NTFS.

And another limitation on FAT32 is its limitation on 4GB as maximum size for a file.

We should/hope to see exFAT (a.k.a. FAT64) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExFAT
