Hi.

Anyone use any of these, ideally one available for Web/PC/Android/IOS that you think works well?

Ideally, we would have a number of chore lists automatically assigned to the day it would normally fall on.

IE Before School, After School, After Dinner, Before Bed. We also have some days the kids do after school stuff and don't have as many chores.

Weekends would be different as well.

Thanks.

Might be of use

What's the best app for sharing household chores? : r/productivity (reddit.com)

Worse comes to worst, a physical calendar.

https://getsquareone.app/

This app, developed right here in New Zealand, offers a lot of value despite its cost. The benefits are definitely worth it!

One great feature is that if your child is below a certain age, you won’t need to go through AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks - the app only requires vetting for the parent.

It’s designed to meet your needs and keeps kids engaged by making learning fun. My own children love it, and I’m impressed with how it manages to educate while entertaining.

I looked at Square One. It looked to me like a bank account with slightly more convenient features but significantly higher fees. Interested in how others have found it though, and whether you think it's a good product / good value for money.

Yes, it's definitely worth it.

You do get your own unique bank account (04-20xx-000000-xx) which is an older ANZ Wholesale / institutional bank number. So you can get direct credits from family members or friends.

Other virtual banking apps are still using a clearing account and you don't have your own account number (debut and dosh)

The price is $55 pa for the service, so if you have 2 kids it's $27.50 each and you do get your own debit mastercard that doesn't have card numbers displayed. Therefore if you give them a card and they take it to school, kids can't copy the number down.

The card number is in the app for online purchases

I tried SquareOne out for my kids, but in the end it didn't work for us, primarily because they don't have their own devices to log in and see the tasks for pocket money.

Please, please no-one tell Mrs Code about these chore apps or my Life of Riley will be over.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I am nothing if not reasonable... I am sure we can come to terms.

If completely out of the blue, and nothing at all to do with this topic, a PS5 Pro was to be delivered at no cost to my door on its release date, I am quite sure your lovely wife would remain completely ignorant of the ways in which she could fill your days with chores!

This could get quite expensive for @eracode 🤣

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
