Hi all,

Seeking confirmation that my Athom smart plug (PG05 V3 AU10A, ESP32-C3) is destined for the bin - sadly.
It started constantly clicking with a 1-2sec delay between cycles. It has been used as p-art of my home-made UPS to schedule a power switch off so that battery can run every couple of months.
Is this due for the bin?

The Matter/Thread Ikea ones are inexpensive - just replace.

If you can open it up then cap replacement but most smart plugs seem to be built to be non repairable. Perhaps this is something to get Louis Rossman onto about crap that's known to fail being made impossible to open without destruction.
