I don't if the PMC is supposed to be charging through the USB or not.. i remember it does charge through USB prior to the 1.03 update... and now it doesn't. it will show the "lightning" icon over the battery meter, but it does not get fully charged after i left it "charged" over night...


Any idea?

If the lightning icon is showing then the device is charging - it works for mine. I've noticed however that USB charging may be a pain sometimes.

My Smartphone was always charged through USB and one day it wouldn't start at all. I plugged the USB cable and no sign of life. However, as soon as I plugged the power cable on the wall the phone came back.

Now I use the wall charger for my Smartphone and PMC every week or so, and let them fuly charge overnight.

yeah it seems to be working through USB.

It happened once to me, thinking that i can charge through usb so i didn't bring the power adapter with me on the trip. so i got caught with my PMC ran out of juice... luckily one of my cousin has Creative MuVo and is using same 5v charger, so that helped.


How about the docking station? is it chargable through the docking station? i am thinking of getting the docking station and the infra red remote control.

Not sure about the docking station - my PMC is a pre-production unit sent for review before it hit the streets. I'd imagine it charges from the docking, but can't say for sure.
