Hi All,

I have a Rio Karma mp3 player, which I am loath to get rid of, as it just keeps on doing its thing so well.

However, the other day I dropped it into a bucket of roof paint, and thought that its playing days had finally come to an end. But no, after a speedy dissasemble and clean (before the paint dried) it fired back up and is still going as good today as the day I bought it 6 or 7 years ago.

This provoked me into thinking that's time to make a backup.  But for the life of me I cannot remember (or figure out) how to upload the music from the device to my PC.  Downloading new songs is no problem.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Isn't it always the way, you spend hours trying to figure something out, you can't, so you finally post your problem on a forum. Then, ten minutes after you make the post, you figure out the answer.

I don't know how I missed something so simple in the first place, but for anyone interested all you need to do is:

Inside Rio Music Manager, locate on the Rio Karma, select all files, right click and select Save As.
Paste the files on the desired backup location on your pc hard drive.

Simple really, doh!
