I`ve got a Walkman NWZ-W202 ( the one that looks lke a set of headphones that come with a stand ) Have been away for a couple of weeks and when plugging it back intothe USB port it doesn`t show in Windows Explorer which means no music transferring possible.

Have tried another USB lead , another laptop , re-set the Walkman , re-booted the computers and still no joy.

Anyone got any ideas?

Is it turning on and working ok? If it was left flat the battery may be too flat for it to start up now, so leaving plugged in to charge may see it spring to life in 10-15 mins when it gets enough charge in it.

Does it show up in disk management utility? And is just having a problem with a drive letter being assigned?

Nothing shows there either , I also connected it to a computer running XP and no joy , these things are supposed to not need drivers ( and Sony don`t have any on their website for this model ) Makes me wonder whether the problem is in the unit itself.
