So my 2G ipod touch needs repairing. The top button doesn't spring back up, and the headphone jack doesn't send sound when jiggled (checked on multiple headphones, it's the ipod for sure)

It's out of warranty, and I'm at a loss as to where I can go to get it fixed. Also, does anyone have an idea of how much it's likely to cost?

I send my Apple stuff to Ubertec in Auckland when it needs repair - I've not had any issues with them in the past. (Assuming you are near / in auckland) Give them a call, I'm pretty sure they can give you some ball park figures for fixing.

Failing that, try one of the places listed here http://www.apple.com/nz/servic.../

Unfortunately my isp reports me as being in Auckland, when I'm actually in hamilton, meaning that link gives me auckland stores. Anyone know any hamilton stores?
