Looking for an MP3 player with good battery life to attach to car stereo.
Currently using a Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB,which I've owned for approx. 2 years.
Has done its job,but its normal 9 hour battery life becomes much less than an hour when plugged into car stereo.Seems to suck the life out of it very quick.
Which current 4GB MP3 player would have best battery performance under these conditions?

Existing head unit good, but the MP3 will be a birthday gift.
Might be a bit rude 2 suggest i want a new stereo instead!

How about one which can be recharged via a 12v (or lower) supply.
(I use an ipod with built in car dock, but you could use a USB rechargable device, and route a secondary cig lighter socket to take care of the power)

Bought a cheap cigarette lighter charger(thru trademe)but not very practical, will only charge when vehicle running, and will not play simultaneously.
Teach me 4 only spending $5!
