We are wanting to buy some new speakers for our ASUS laptop.  We had Logitech Z10s and loved them, but a power surge blew the speakers.  Yes I know, I have got a proper surge protector now!  Cant buy the Z10s any more.  Any suggestions for a great sound for someone who loves music of all genres.

I have got a pair of Logitech Z-5's - They are USB Driven so make it great when your on the road, but being USB powered you'd think they wouldn't sound good? Well, these speakers are powerful, have enough bass to annoy the household, and sounds awesome with Music or Movies.

Also as a bonus, they come with a Remote Control for your music :)

1 USB Cable? Ideal for a laptop.. I love my pair - I take them to work and also plug them into my laptop when i'm outside, they also have a AUX Input so you can plug in your iPod or other media player.

Thanks for your replies.  I have researched quite a bit and the Z2300 look pretty amazing.  A bit more expensive, but the output is a lot bigger and so I think I will try and get one of these.  Many thanks.
