Hi all - I was hoping some of you might know the answer or know who i can contact to fix it (sorry in advance if this is a silly question).

I've had my itunes account for years and due to laptops breaking, upgrading computers etc i have used up all my 5 allowable devices which you can authorize your apple account to access. Unfortunately i did not deauthorize previous machines and they are now long gone. I am unable to access music etc i've bought on my itunes account as i can't authorise my current computer.

Is there anyway i can deauthorise old machines or get more authorisations?

Thanks for your advice!

You can deauthorise all 5 and once at start over - I am nearing  my limit too

If you've reached your limit of 5 you have the option once a year to deauthorise them all in one go from your iTunes account and start over again. You can't deauthorise individual computers without logging on to the specific one you want to change: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

Go into iTunes store in iTunes and then click on your Apple ID (or your email in the top right) and when asked to authorise your account, put in your password. In the top box on this page it will list how many machines you have authorized. If you have 5 machines authorized there will be a button "Deauthorize All". If you?re sure that you want to deauthorize all your computers, click this button. iTunes will ask you if you?re really sure. Click Deauthorize All Computers and, as requested, your computers will be deauthorized.

Hope this helps :-)
