Can anyone tell me what the audio facility of Kindle is like? Is it a very electronic voice? I fancy listening to books on my about-to-be-purchased Kindle in the car on the way to work, as an alternative to my MP3 player cos I feel kind of unsafe with earphones in my ear.
Answering my own question! Heard a sample of text-to-voice on YouTube and it's not too bad at all. Male or female option which will fit the bill well enough for my 15-minute commute each day.
