Ordered (via GZ link) on Friday, it's in Auckland now and I'm in Wellington. Can't wait for it to get here, but sort of kicking myself for not ordered the 3g version, but am sure I will be happy with wifi one anyway.

It was the leather case with built-in light that cancelled out the 3g version purchase...I'd rather have a light that's almost hidden than one of those bigger stick on ones, or 3g.

Hopefully it's in my hot little hands tomorrow!

Why did you think the 3G cancelled out the lighted cover??  I have with 3G with the in-built lighted cover and it is the BEST thing ever!  Am really pleased I paid the extra cos I can read in bed/DoC huts without lights/travelling/in hospital etc etc etc.  Hasn't missed a beat and can't remember the last time I had to recharge it.

Thanks for using our link... And yes, this is by far the best gadget of 2010! I think you will read even faster than before. And the 3G is very convenient for those impulse purchases...

I guess he's saying the price difference paid for the cover?

Yup is was the price difference. While the $ is great, with US$32.90 shipping the case + 3G was just too high to justify to my wife...I had to tell her I had purchased a research tool at first, just to break it to her gently.

The secret here is to be the financial controller in the household.  I am the wife and I handle the money so I didn't have to explain the $s to my husband!  I just bought what I wanted this time.
