Hi,

I've just returned from a trip in the US and picked up 2 of the new Kindles (base model). Unfortunately we couldn't find any covers in store over there and it appears that amazon won't ship them to NZ via the website.

Does anywhere know where I can I buy one in NZ? I see there a lots of Kindle 3 covers around so maybe I just need to show some patience, but my wife is dying to get one.

Any help would be appreciated.

My wife & I each have one of these:

Can't beat the price, and so far it has proven to be an excellent product.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply - unfortunately they are for the Kindle 3 (with keyboard) and ours are the Kindle '4' - without keyboard.

We're lookng for an equivalent cover but for the newer kindles.

Again, that case is for the 3rd Generation Kindle Keyboard model.

We have 4th generation Kindles with no keyboard. Because of the lack of keyboard they are much smaller and will have completely different size cases.

I think the only option is to wait.

Thanks anyway.

Oops sorry, just looked at the 6" bit and thought that was it.  Didn't put 2 and 2 together to figure out that Kindle3 meant 3rd generation...duh.

I expect it shouldn't be too long though before the official ones are available and the after-market ones appear.

check dealextreme or trademe. eventually they'll appear. But  be wary that they may get listed , but actual availability will be weeks aways. sometimes amazon uk will ship to nz when amazon us wont. But I fear the kindle 4 covers may have a premium price in the short term
