Check out the baen free library at:

http://www.baen.com/library/defaultTitles.htm

I
f you have an ebook reader then this is a great source of free SciFi books, usually there are a few from an author and if you want to buy more of their work it is pretty cheap.

I like the Posleen war series by John Ringo http://www.baenebooks.com/s-84-john-ringo.aspx this link will show you all his books and prices. The books are reasonably priced.

But check out the free library if you like SciFi....

Honour Harrington aka "Honorverse" series by David Weber (and friends on the anthologies)

First read them free on the Baen website, now I own ~16 or so books in the series, mostly purchased new so Weber gets the royalties.

Some truly excellent work up there for free

Yeah, I read some of Eric Flint's 1632 series on here.

Very good.

Basically encouraged me to buy more books.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?
