Bought my nice new Kindle Touch via the GZ link, 3 day delivery via DHL for the same price as their cheapest option because shipping was "delayed" by about a day, plus significantly cheaper overall than what DSE wants for them.

Yeah I bought one too from Amazon, opted for the faster courier option cos I was excited like a little kid. Took six days and still had to go to Morningside to pick it up. Then I got one for my mum and went for the "slower" cheaper mail option. Was delivered to my door and only took 2 days. A tip mate if you need it. Don't try and create different folders on the kindles drive. It'll mess with it's tiny brain. Organize your books just by collection only.

Yep, worked that out. The "Calibre" program is pretty handy for organising things. Pity the Kindle doesn't recognise the series # of books that Calibre puts into the metadata, I've got 6 books with similar titles and need to check the covers to work out which is which in the order.

I ordered one for a lady I work with, paid for the "cheap" shipping option, and it still turned up 2 days later via DHL.

Yeah I use Calibre too, can't you fully edit the metadata of the books to whatever you want? Change the title to 1whatever, 2whatever, 3whatever, etc.

Absolutely, which is what I'll need to do, not a big deal obviously, just would've been nice if you could sort by sequence.

I'm amazed by the detail on the screen, nice little devices. I was going to buy a case for it, but it looks like about the only reasonable ones are the "official" ones which are a tad expensive.

Yep. This is what I do. Change the title so it has a number in it.
