My wife is trying to get into be a tester / analyst. She has a bit of experience in a bank who she worked for ten years with various roles. She has double major in commerce / psychology but no IT degree. She received very good feedbacks from her previous work but recommended that she does further studies to be an official role as a tester. Now after a three year of maternity leave she wants to get into it, and we have been looking at Industry Connect where she has been to an introductory class with positive interest.

We are based in Wellington and I just wanted to see if anybody has had an experience with them, and also to see if you have any advice that you would like to share with us. She wants to work as a contractor and likely a part time. She has very very good attention to detail and has good experience with working in banking software / environment but she is open to anything. She can return to the banks headquarters but wants something different in her life.
