We are looking for another engineer to join our growing IT Infrastructure operations team!

Predominantly - skills wise - looking for someone who's got a focus and genuine interest in Public cloud solutions, think the entire MSFT Suite.
It is Hastings based.
We have a great team here who are genuinely great people who actually care about what we do, we just need more people!

Primarily we want someone who's going to fit our team culture. We are relaxed, like banter, go out for lunch on Fridays with everyone from the IT service desk to our CTO if you'd like to join (it is not a requirement!).
If you're a Junior Engineer or someone who's wanting to make the change from big city life to not so big city life, I have to admit. It is a lovely change to go from doing 1hr Commutes to less than 15 minutes from the other side of town xD

If you've got any questions. Feel free to flick me a PM or just apply through seek below.

EDIT:
Just a disclosure - I am NOT the hiring manager. I am just another senior in the team who wants to see another geek with similar passions join us and have been given approval to post here by my manager.

Being a council I'm guessing fully remote isn't an option.. I like no commute.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Honestly, I don't actually know. HDC is definitely accommodating and if anything want you to do days from home, we don't have anyone (within the IT team itself) who works fully from home though majority of the team do have days from home every week.

This role 'could' be an exception for the right person, but I believe there will be an element of 'on-site' requirement. What that would be I don't know.

How would you manage a remote solution while working remotely?!
