Hi Team

My iPad 2017 model seems to sometimes freeze when switching apps requiring a reboot.

Do you'all think this is a hardware or software thing I have done a factory reset and set the iPad up as new but it still happens

it's still under warranty till April... or do iPad's sold in NZ have a 24 month warranty like iPhone's do?

I am running the latest version of IOS btw

not having this issue on my iPhone.

iPads sold in nz are covered for a 2nd year under consumer law.

Have a look in the settings - privacy - analytics - analytics data.
If you see more than two logs with the word panic in the name then it’ll be a hardware fault.

When you say you did a factory reset, do you mean via iTunes on a computer or just doing an Erase All Content And Settings on the phone?

OK if that is the only log with the word panic in it then it's unlikely to be a hardware issue.

That log is also from 10th December, when did you do the factory reset?

Out of curiosity, how many apps are running at the time of crash?

Any particular combination of apps open when it crashes?

Only 3 apps running
I don’t use many apps on my device so It’s hard for me to know if it’s only some combinations of apps causing it.
