I am on the 2Degrees network. At home om my iPhone 15 Pro Max connected to 5G I get speeds of circa 20mbps to60mbps sometimes lower. On my Nothing Phone 3 I get speeds of 90mbps to 250mbps. This is in the same location and using the same SIM. There are locations where the Nothing phone gets great 5G connection eg Wairarapa and the iPhone will only connect via 4G

The iPhone is on iOS 27. I have done a network reset a couple of times. The iPhone is my back up device as I an moving away from the Apple ecosystem. I would love to know what is causing this as I do not have a scubi.

Normal ain't coming back, the crazy stays.

different modems in each of the devices with different performance specs.

seems to be purely hardware related

while the results make it seem like a big difference it could be -3-5dB in performance between the 2 devices

remember 3dB is half the power

it doesnt take much for the speed to drop.

Weird, right here on an iPhone 15 Pro Max I get 467 / 62. Note I'm in the office right now and we have micro cells on the ceiling but it does show that the phone is perfectly capable of 90+.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

iPhone 15 iOS 26.7 5G at home is faster than our 500/500 fibre for download - 600-700 Mbps with 3 or 4 out of 4 bars.

I am very happy with 2 Degrees since moving a couple of months back. The performance and stability for me and my wife(S25 Ultra) has been great, way better than Spark.

This issues is the iPhone handset. I might do a full factory reset and start a fresh. My Nothing phone is my daily driver now while I decide what Android handset I finally go with.

Normal ain't coming back, the crazy stays.
