geekiegeek: So I went through the setup and it said it succeeded. The plan shows in my Apple Watch mobile settings but it won’t connect. Have tried restarting the watch but still no go. Any ideas?

It won't be you or your watch, it'll be Spark.

JonoNZ: Note that if you are a Spark Digital customer you need to get them to add your One Number Plan for you and provide the Apple Watch EID and IMEI to them.

Phone and watch have individual IMEI numbers which the Spark network needs to know to share on one number/account.

Anyone know what happens if I remove the mobile plan from my watch, can I read it? wondering if doing this might fix my connect issue

Apparently I'm not the only one having connection issues and Spark are talking to Apple.

Had an update from Spark, they have an issue with eSIM activations not working and will let me know when its fixed. Not the best product launch.

Those having issues with the watch, please give it a day or so. There was an issue identified today that's been fixed.

Teams are contacting impacted customers and remediation it. I don't have a defined time line sorry.

Appolgies for the issues.

received an email overnight to say that spark had canceled my add on plan and to try again. Removed plan from phone and re added. Took around an hour to activate but now everything is working with a green indicator and dots.

Being told by staff at Spark store that I cannot use an Australian purchased Apple Watch 4 (bought last year) and only a series 3 or series 5 - that can’t be right as they’re practically all the same and have the same bands. Surely this advice is because Spark are only selling series 3 and 5, although the Spark staff said they had Apple staff in the store yesterday and they confirmed it to them.

That's utter nonsense. JonoNZ's the first on this thread to get Spark on his watch and he's been buying his watches from Australia.

Instead of going into a store where no one has a clue other than how to sell things call up spark, tell them you've got the watch and you want the plan to support it. If won't give it to you say "fine, I'll wait for vodafone who can't be far behind".

i agree, how do they even know it’s a series 4? Do it over the phone or go into another store - no need to specify that it’s a S4.

Just went for my first run with the new watch. Left my phone at home. Streamed a podcast no problem and it synced my run from Stryd to Strava as soon as I finished battery drain for about 50mins of GPS and cellular streaming was 20%
