Not a great start…

(phone was on charge while restoring, so possibly a good way to heat it up)

Has anyone who was stuck at customs clearance had any movement so far today?

Bought the iPad mini 6 in a separate transaction and that's already arrived. The phone is still stuck at "processed for clearance" 😬

I phoned up and looks like they handed off to courier post, obtained the courier post tracking and it’s with the driver for delivery

Mine's still the same from yesterday 9:04 customs status updated. It seems unusual that I haven't had my out for delivery text from Apple yet. It seems like every process from ordering to delivery isn't as smooth this year.

Still processed for clearance here too.

I'm not overly worried, every Apple order I've done has arrived exactly when they said it would - but there's a first time for everything I guess.

After reading the earlier comment about NZ Post taking over delivery I looked at DHL.com and got the 'piece ID' and put that into NZP's track and trace.

It has been sitting on 'ready for courier' since 3am. Not too optimistic about that.

The only reason I order from Apple is they have always been rock solid. If that changes then I might as well just order from Spark, JB, etc.

You could always call DHL and ask, they might have skipped scanning with the large amount of incoming packages to save time

I've had my piece ID as a tracking code on NZP's website since last night however all I ever get is "There is currently no tracking information available for JD..."

Thats exactly what they have done. I called them in the morning and they said its already with nz post for delivery even though dhl tracking said processing.

Ours is still sitting on Customs Status Updated with DHL as well - even though it hit AKL late Wed night.

Rang DHL which was a waste of time - all she could say was that Apple shipments came in bulk and it's possible it hasn't been "sorted" yet.

Good to see above that they're delivering even without the status being updated - so fingers crossed!

The whole point of staying up til midnight and buying from Apple is they always deliver.......if DHL fail on the last mile delivery today that will be super disappointing.
