Finch:

Not trolling here, just seems like you can buy phones which have better specs or at least the same for cheaper.

It's never about the specs with iPhone, it's simply the features and user experience. They build their hardware to suit their software, and vice versa, and the unity works extremely well imo. That said, I'd like a 6S+  but it's a bit much for my liking... MacBook Air, or a phone... Curse the NZ dollar!!

64GB Space Grey 6S for me. Delivery 25th :-)

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but the person on the Vodafone twitter account last night said outright purchases of the new iPhone will be available from Day 1

Picked up one of these

Don't like running a case nor fully naked, lol, so is the best compromise I think

littleheaven: After some Googling, I've ascertained that the 6 cases should fit the 6S. If anyone is after a cheap interim case, Dick Smith is having a big online sale today. I got a 3SIXT one with a TPU bumper and clear plastic back for $10 which should keep my new phone safe until I find a longer term solution. If it doesn't fit, no drama at that price, I can give to my sister for her 6 as a spare.

Good idea on the case and yes would fit height and wodth wise. But isn't this newer model thicker? Existing cases (at least non silicone) may not fit correctly.

The difference is no more than 0.2 mm so anything flexible should be fine. Speck have confirmed their 6 cases will fit the 6S so for $10 I'm willing to take the risk :)

I was considering one of these but can't find much about them, other than positive reviews on Amazon.com. Can't get it delivered direct from .com but .co.uk would cost me NZD$70 delivered (dang you currency exchange rates... dang you all to heck...)

Bit worried that a bumper designed for the 6 Plus may well not fit the 6s Plus correctly, even with such a small differential in dimensions...

Had a choice to make as I was on a date from 7:30 and couldn't get online before that to order!

She was daring me to place my order for it but I suspect that it wouldn't have actually gone down too well!

Alas when I went online this morning the delivery was 2-3 weeks so I figure I'll just wait and see.

When I do order it will be a silver 6S+ 128gb with Apple care (mostly for the accidental cover) and I will sell my current 6+ 64gb to partially fund it.

Question for VodafoneDylan (or Vodafone Reps)

Recently I've switched to Red+ Lite special at $49/month instead of $59/month. And Looking at getting iPhone 6s Plus - for myself and my partner. We'd opt to go for Open Term plan - probably the Red+ Lite with spread payment.

I got a few questions if I chose to do so:
1) What will happen to my current Red+ Lite special at $49/month Open Term plan?
2) Can I get/opt to have AppleCare+ for iPhone if I get the iPhone 6s Plus through Vodafone?
3) Will there be an outright purchase through Vodafone - First Mobile store?

True. I went in and grabbed a silicon case. Usually $27 and got it for $4

I'll most likely get an iPhone 6S Plus and AppleCare then throw it on the 24 months interest free through Spark. It'll be interesting to see what the specifications are once there is a tear down by fixit or some other source.

Regarding a case, it'll be a toss up between either one from Pad and Quill or TwelveSouth with there Bookbook one.

That's what I was getting at on the previous page but it is what it is. Not my money anyway.

This is what I did with my 5s a couple of years ago. My wife will likely want an upgrade once she has a tutu with my new one so may well go down that road for hers. She'll be after the rose gold though so I suspect she'll be waiting for a while for Spark to get stock of that...

I had a Pad & Quill Bella Fino for my 5s and a 12South BookBook for my 4S... loved both but just not sure about the added bulk on such a large handset (and such a difference from my 5s)

If I sign up for Vodafone Red+ and get the iPhone 6S Plus 128GB with it, I know I have to pay $599 upfront and then $129 + $20 for New Phone Every Year addon. For the next year, if I decide to get iPhone 7 Plus 128GB, would I have to pay the $599 upfront again?
