Just this minute got a text from DHL telling me my delivery has been Forwarded for Delivery (because I set up text notifications), but the DHL website still says Custom Status Updated.....and the phones were delivered over an hour ago.

This isn't their first rodeo so I'm surprised....

HA! I just got an update on DHL that my package has been forwarded for delivery. Then I checked NZP website using my piece id as the tracking number and it says 12:54 - "Tracking number allocated to parcel"

Progress..

Just now got the same thing from DHL but NZPost tracking remains unchanged as above (shore based)

... I notice the date of the event is actually yesterday though:

Note if you go to the tracking page through apples site (which takes you to a plain page with no branding)

I actually get a different readout to what I get on the branded DHL site which is a bit silly.

Generic says fwd'd (as of 10 min ago), branded does not

Good call - the Apple forwarded DHL corporate tracking link has the status as Forwarded for Delivery as of last night.....would have saved me a whole lot of stress this morning to have at least seen that! I usually don't bother with that site as the DHL branded one lets me set up notifications etc.......

Notification for shipment event group "Out for Delivery" — from DHL, no changed with NZ Post.

NZPost now says estimated delivery 27th! SO much for midnight ordering from Apple..

and its now changed to 'out for deliver' - must stop watching updates

Mine shows the same status. Courier arrives around 3pm in my area so will be interesting to see if it shows up

edit: (which is an assumption based on complaints i've seen in the media historically)

My tracking number just got allocated to the parcel just now. Unless there's some miracle it speeds up and is delivered in the late afternoon cycle, looks like it'll be Monday for me as well. Guess I have the iPad to keep me company for now, hah.

I'm rural and I got my new case for my 13 Pro Max yesterday. Monday is what dhl says for the phone. I'll find out in the next hour I suppose, or tomorrow...

EDIT: I should have added the tracking for the case I got yesterday said it wouldn't arrive until today. I've often found Apple delivery times to be pessimistic.
