bandwithblocker: The Wait is over, got the phone this morning, rush to the VF store, got a M Sim for free (since i am on account of iphone 40), bought a speck hard candy case, ordered a bumper for a change in the future, active the phone straight way. Wala!!!! There you go. HAHAHAHA!!!

Where did you go. I have checked with vodafone... the local official one and they say it will cost $30. I'm on account and they keeo changing there bloody minds!

Hi Man

I went to the VF queen street store, the main one, Just walk in and ask them if i can get a mirco sim, i told them i am on account iphone 40, them the guy took one card out, and transfer my number to it, no charge.

Thanks dude. Went to the Queen St store they were out! Drive to Sylvia park "official store" and they had some. Have to say the two girls working there were lovely, wish I got their names, real helpful. They said they had a waiting list of 600 plus and have stopped taking anymore!

If anything, it's got worse, the waiting times from VF are longer than on launch day.

I got mine from Apple direct and have just hooked up my free micro sim from 2 degrees :)

What do you pay to use 2 degreees? I call approx 100 mins a month, like having 3GB data and txt about 500 messages? Is it worth it?

I hardly use any data as I only tend to use my iPhone on wi-fi. For calls and texts, its hard to beat 2 degrees in that sort of scenario especially with the free text bundles each time you top up.

kiwind: So I have an iPhone 4 but ran out of time to get to Vodafone today to swap my SIM over, and can't use the bloody thing! GRRRRRR!

I just ordered a sim cutter with adapters off deal extreme.  $13US and cheaper than paying $30 for a sim swap.. (Im on prepay).

Pair of scissors $8 maybe? You may even have a pair at home or borrow one from work.

And.. if you screw it up then you have to pay $30 and explain it to Vodafone.

I can sell the cutter when I'm done on Trademe :)

yay!
Mines arrived 9am this morning. Our account manager delivered an on-account microsim but unfortunately they couldnt move me over since i need a prepay microsim- even though im on account TalkZone Zero.

They said my number was very old (was on Bell South, before VF came along) and used to be prepay a long time ago, so i still need a prepay sim, grrr!

Hopefully be up and running tomorrow.

I think there is a way to rollback but not sure how easy it is

Just noticed mines finally changed to prepared for shipment as well!
The Due date has also been dropped back to the 1st instead of the 2nd
