mahdibassam: Cases purchased, tempered glass purchased

What case and tempered glass did you go for? I've ordered a Pad & Quill Bella Vida but the colour combo I want won't ship 'til early October... That's OK by me though as I'm keen to get used to the nude size of it in-hand before adding extra case bulk...

Did 2D guarantee delivery on release day?

I really do think it's Apple increasing the price just because they can, not because of the NZD changes. Look at the Mac and iPad lineups, they're exactly the same price as before the event.

That said, my iPhone 6 Plus with iOS9.0 feels snappy again, like when I first bought it with iOS8.0, I'm mostly going to skip the 6S generation this time, despite having upgraded to a new generation of iPhone every year in the past.

That's good to hear - I just picked up a 6 plus! (couldn't quite justify the extra $500 to get the S)

For the case, I went for a Verus Iron Shield, which is the sexiest case I have seen in my life : http://veruscase.com/verus-iphone-6-plus-case-iron-shield-series.html

For the protector, I always buy from a company called iMOS, they are based in taiwan, and their glass protectors are made of Corning Gorilla glass, and are actually curved on the sides to cover the entire screen. They are pricey, but you are getting a curved glass protector made of Gorilla glass, so im happy to pay the premium : http://www.imos.biz/products/555c1abce37ec66b81000026

I have attached images for both case and protector.

I preordered with 2Degrees at 7.10pm on launch day, 10 minutes after it started. They confirmed with me that they will deliver on 25th. So yea they will. Last year with spark they even delivered a day early, because these carriers hand of the orders to the courier companies a few days in advance.

Very nice! Where have you ordered from? If overseas, how much are they costing landed in NZ?

The imos glass can be bought from their website and they ship with FedEx, it would be about 100$ all up. Yes I know to pricey :) but it's curved gorilla glass as I said.

The Verus case, I bought from Ebay as it's cheaper than their website. Just search verus iron shield iphone 6s plus. It was about 35$ .

I like the look of those versus cases - especially the crystal bumper ones. If they bring out a rose gold I might get one. For interim protection I've got a 3SIXT Pure Flex, which is a clear back with a white TPU bumper, and a Belkin invisiglass screen protector. I'll be in the GC in just over a week so plan to take a trip to the Apple store to look at a more permanent case.

When did you order you 6s? I bought a 6s plus 64GB Space gray, I thought i'd give the financing a go because I was short on money. Mine still says Processing your order

I ordered it at about 7.25pm on preorder night. I was also going to use finance to manage my budget but the phone associate advised that orders using finance wouldn't be secured until the finance company approved it fully, up to 24 hours later so I banged it on my credit card.

Hopefully yours went through before they went out of stock - I'd say you'll be sweet though.

Mmm those Verus cases are bloody nice. I would buy one too, but the delivery price!

Just a thought if few of us are interested in that and we make a bulk order does the shipping cost stay the same??
