My daughter picked up the Pro this morning from NL. No queues. She went to Spark as we had a $150 coupon to use but they would not sell one without a plan.

I'm rural and I got my new case for my 13 Pro Max yesterday. Monday is what dhl says for the phone. I'll find out in the next hour I suppose, or tomorrow...

EDIT: I should have added the tracking for the case I got yesterday said it wouldn't arrive until today. I've often found Apple delivery times to be pessimistic.

O me of little faith - delivered. Not sure how I feel about the iPhone 13 blue. Maybe it will grow on me. I've always been a plain black kind of guy, and this was me branching out...

Ordered midnight on the release date. No delivery in Wellington. It’s 4:21pm. So I doubt I will get it today. First time missing the delivery. Last year was perfectly on time.

The Macro camera on the Pro is impressive. Yes it does jump around a bit just likes the reviewers complained but it's better than any magnifying glass I own. Great for my old eyes and more convenient as I now always have my best magnifier on me!

The other thing of note is that the SIM tray is oriented differently from my iPhone X tray. Tighter too. I had to sand paper the edges of my VF SIM card!

The Sierra blue changes colour depending on lighting. It was a nice ice blue when I first saw it outside but now, in my office, it's more grey.

Significantly thicker than my iPhone X which now feels very dainty and delicate next to the Pro. Thicker devices; is that a manifestation of Sir Johnny's departure? :) I love the banded "iPhone 4" design which is his classic masterpiece.

I have the gold PM. The gold is quite pale, the back looks completely white from certain angles. The transition is quite eye catching.

It catches more finger prints than my 11PM though.

Lucky you! Mine is stuck at the NZ Post depot since 1PM, hopefully they do Saturday deliveries...

Edit: Nevermind, they came through at 5:03pm!

Hah - @Insanekiwi - yeah, I'd given up on delivery today too... but low & behold the courier dropped it off at 5.00pm in Miramar, Wellington.

The NZPost tracker had it at Ngaio all day and this afternoon it was listed as delivery for Monday?! When I said that it seemed the guy was working late, the courier said "we always try and get them out if we can"

Living the excitement for launch day through all of your comments about getting deliveries.

Spark seems to have messed up this year and have not even assigned anything for delivery even though I placed my order 5 mins past midnight.

Lesson learnt. Ordering from Apple next time

That's weird because I'm rural Cambridge. My new iPhone came just before 3pm in the NZ rural post van.
