Kind of annoyed with the long wait time on the pre order, its a damn $1600 phone. Wished they had better shipping and earlier release date. I hope they do start preparing for shipment soon.

Ah, but none of them are iPhones, hence I don't want any of them :0)

Maybe you should wait until it is actually late before complaining about it being late?

Just be thankful that you don't have the pope visiting thus probably delaying it till next week.

Also, if you get the shipping details why not contact TNT/whoever and say you'll pick up direct from the depot so there's no wondering if it'll turn up or not?

Well, it was a pre-order. No different from pre-ordering a game, I guess. You're just guaranteeing you'll get one on go live day by ordering early enough. The wait for the 5 was a good 3 weeks, and no specified due date. I didn't think there would be a chance I'd get my 6S before I went on holiday so the delivery of 25/9 was a pleasant surprise.

My case and screen protector have arrived. Order still preparing to ship :0)

Well I ordered a case and a phone, the case has changed order status as of today, to Preparing for Shipment . I heard there is a shortage of 6s plus, which mean it could take a little longer.

Not long to go now! Pre-orders with carriers like 2Degrees and Spark and Vodafone should be shipping on wednesday or thursday. Hopefully we wont get an email saying there is a delay like we did last year with the 6. fingers crossed :D

Pretty sure they won't be dispatched until Friday (for same day delivery). That's how Spark rolled last year with the 6 anyway!

Ahh - how do I find out when the corporate orders will be fulfilled? What are their lead times normally or do they have an allocation from the first lot?

Please dont talk about last year and Spark. I preordered the 6 Plus with them, and one day before launch they sent an email to everyone saying theres a delay, and that "your iphone is on a boat to new zealand"! lol not sure if you remember.  Although I did preorder pretty late last year. This time I ordered at 7.05pm on the day they started :)

But im not sure they would courier on friday, because last year a few friends received theirs a day early. I guess it would depend on where you live.

My order (made within 15 minutes of go live) is still preparing for shipping. I think if they were coming from China they'd have shipped by now, surely? When I ordered my iPad Air it came from Aussie, from memory.

It all depends where the stock is held. With my experience in the past it has come from China and Australia both. Definitely a lot faster if it comes from their warehouse in sydney
