Didn’t think people needed to see pic of the phone :) I got the pro max and it has to be the heaviest phone I have used

I made a critical mistake of pre ordering my pro, 128, graphite from jbhifi.
No notifications, nothing.
The status just says “ in progress “ So who knows when I’ll receive it.

I feel like I've given my phone a pretty good test drive now and my one major complaint is the bug whereby it is not possible to enable the feature that allows you to use your Apple Watch to unlock your iPhone while wearing a mask. Is anyone else having this problem?

Very pleased with the crisp, rich colours of the screen (coming from a good OLED screened iPhone X). I haven’t really noticed the fast refresh rate, but the low-light capability of the cameras, the cinematic video mode and overall responsiveness are huge improvements.

The camera bump is ridiculously big and I’m sure it’ll be a dirt and dust magnet, but it is what it is…

I got a graphite Pro, 512 GB (so I can shoot plenty of photos and try out the Prores video format at 4k when it’s enabled) and I’m very happy with the look of it. I got the Apple leather case and notice that it has quite a big ridge around the phone on the screen side, but once I put a glass screen protector on, it seems more ‘normal’. The ‘Midnight’ colour of the case is a very deep blue… almost black.

A couple of photos from the old iPhone X synced via iCloud to an iPad Pro & uploaded from there…

Yes, I am having this same issue.

Hopefully a quick patch since I have to wear a mask a lot of the day at work!

I ended up taking a backup of my iPhone 13, resetting it, then restoring from that backup and pairing the watch

Once you do that unlock from apple watch works again, was annoying typing the passcode to unlock when wearing a mask

Alternatively you can wait for the update to fix

I hate tinkering with computers so I will wait for the update, but it's really annoying that Apple managed to screw this up. The problem seems to be widespread so you'd think they should have picked it up in testing.

I saw an article about the iPhone 13 don’t come with the latest iOS 15 build.

The build I’m currently using is 15.0 (19A346). I didn’t take note of the preinstalled build as I was too excited haha.

So I set the phone up as new without signing into my iCloud account, update iOS, erase/reset and then restore from iCloud backup.

Check if there is a newer build of iOS 15 available on your new iPhone 13 :)

My 13PM seems to be stuck on some part of the transfer process.

It says under settings "Restore in progress" and tells me 100 Mb will be needed to complete the restore. It does not really seem to be doing anything at all - it has been saying that for 12 hours now...!

I have to say - this is a large phone. Heavy as well. Maybe should have stuck to my original plan - iPhone Mini and iPad Mini!

There is - but it won't install it until it gets out of this restore glitch it is in.
