Mine (from Voda) arrived today. Love the new blue, it’s not as bright as the renders made it out to be. Nice and subtle.

Geektastic:

There is - but it won't install it until it gets out of this restore glitch it is in.

If you have a mac, you should be able to update it with Apple Configurator 2 without needing to sign in or anything.

After a few days of use I'd have to say that the iPhone 13 isn't as comfortable to hold as my XS. It's not really a big deal, but I found the more rounded design to be more comfortable, whereas the sharp edges on my new device have a tendency to dig into my fingers.

Interestingly I found my X incredibly uncomfortable to use without a case to the point it hurt my hand. But my Pro Max is waaay nicer to hold.

My daughter bought her Mum a Iphone 13 for a birthday present :-) We went looking for cases and didn't realise that the 13 came in two flavours - regular and Pro, until we looked at the cases and saw there were two types.  Anyway we decided to upgrade to the Pro (for reasons I don't understand myself) and NL were happy to exchange the 13 even the seal on the box had been opened (though of course the seals on the phone has not been removed) for a 13 Pro.  I hope the additonal $370 is worth the extra features which based on how my wife uses her phone, she won't really notice.

There is a significant difference in the camera on the 13 compared with the 13 Pro, but otherwise the two devices are very similar.

The 120Hz display on the 13 Pro is widely regarded as a defining feature but I can't honestly say I've noticed it.

For me there were two reasons I went for the regular 13 rather than the pro. The first was the price but it was a secondary consideration.

The main reason was the weight. The regular 13 is at the top end of what I find comfortable to use. I’d come from a Huawei P30 pro and that was too heavy at 197 grams but at least it had a bigger screen. 204 grams is far too heavy for me to use comfortably.

I’ve got no regrets buying the regular 13 but YMMV.

Few tablets have a built in dailer, but many of the Samsung 4G ones still do.

It's quite useful if your phone ever has to go in for repair and you need to access your voice/SMS functions on the same number.

it is scaled to the speed of your scrolling. super fast scrol = 120hz. normal scrol = 60hz. super slow scroll it can even get much much lower apparently.

been watching youtube.

We haven't cracked open the box on the 13th pro that we bought for my wife yet. But certainly on my Pixel 4 XL it's pretty clear the difference between 60 Hz and 90 hertz when scrolling through pages. It's so much smoother. Not sure what difference 90 to 120 would be.
