my friend got a tempered glass one from the warehouse which has been fine on her 2020 SE. Was dirt cheap.

I see. I'm worried about doing it myself, ha!

Hey folks. I purchased an iPhone 12 today, my first iPhone in around a decade. I got it out of the box, but now what? I haven't turned it on yet. Can I start using it right away? Do I need to charge it first? If I had to charge it first, what % did you charge it to? Obviously I want to keep the battery healthy.

Edit: Also I'm sure it's been asked a 100 times but if anyone has any suggestions for any cases that would be amazing.. Looking for something "Minimal", but not clear/see-through, and something with a good grip, but not bulky, if any of that makes sense.

Just use it. You might cost yourself 0.000000000091% of the battery life by not charging it. If you really care that much then you could worry about it.

So where are my screen recordings saved, for me it's not in the photos?

I recorded some gameplay from a game, but now I can't find it. I dropped down from the top right, clicked screen record, it recorded (Or so I thought), then top left I clicked the red "Button/Bar" and it asked if I wanted to stop recording, yes. But now I can't find it? Where could it be/why isn't it saving?

They’re just saved to photos so just use the Photos app to find them.

Got my first ever iPhone since their inception..... any must have apps or case recommendations for the ip12pro max? I wish they would optimise iOS better as at present the UI of 12PM just feels like a really large 12mini with no capability to better optimise screen real estate.

Honestly the Siri thing feels deliberate to me, like a teaser or easter egg which Apple are fond enough of doing. That doesn’t just happen.

I'd like to see a redesigned iPad Mini with the same styling as the latest iPad Air - one-hand-friendly small chassis, larger screen. Apple Pencil compatibility (either 1 or 2 wouldn't bother me). Updated innards and the iPad Air fingerprint reader in the on/off button.

The new iPad Pro now looks like its moved on from being a big-screen device for an average home user to a full on pro device for professionals (like photographers, video makers, etc). I'll be looking forward to seeing how the iPad Air evolves later on this year.

Interesting of note they didn't mention a price or release date on it
