Did you managed to update it via OTA, or via iTunes?

CYaBro: Jailbreak for iOS 6.1 for iPhone 5 and other devices will supposedly be released this Sunday.
I'll believe it when I see it. :)

Apparently you should only update through iTunes if you want to jailbreak; something about the OTA updater changing the SHSH blobs.

Behodar: I haven't even installed it and I've already found a bug :)

Settings > General > Software Update > Learn More > There's a piece of underlined blue text that looks like a hyperlink but isn't actually tappable. If you go to the URL (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222) on your computer then there's no mention of 6.1 on that page.

Works for me, but it's a general page with details of all their updates (which also has iOS 6.1).

Apple would be doing a slow rollout so that their servers wouldn't get hammered. They have had issues in the past where people would download corrupted updates from a server or their update wouldn't be able to be verified and they get left with a bricked device.

I just checked on my Ipad 4th Gen and the update is available to download OTA but it didn't come up as a notifacation, I have to search for updates.

Also note that in some places you might see a new "Enable LTE" option on Vodafone - even though Vodafone is not in the official iPhone LTE list yet.

Does IOS6.1 add siri to the ipad 2 yet? Since the mini is the same specs and has siri, I would expect siri to be eventually added.

Or as per sbiddle's post "Are Vodafone NZ holding NZ's best kept secret?"

Hmm.. OK that is strange with my Mrs's iPhone 4 then - the Software Update options still only shown an update to IOS 6.1 beta 4...!

May I know which version of IOS were you upgrading from?
