A coworker just (today!) had his Mini repaired; $140 at a local shop (Lazer Photo, if anyone from Whakatane ends up reading this later).

Spent $12 on one of those "toughened" thick screen protectors on TM Works ok to stop furrther detoration until i decide what to do

Funny thing over the last few days I have been using my Dell venue Now going back to the ipad mini retina  LOL Chalk and Cheese ! even with wrecked screen

A quick follow-up on how it all turned out
I sold the unit on TM for $190

So now what ?........ Hmmmmm what shall i replace it with ?

Have any of the other tablets got a comparable screen to the ipad retinas?
