Haha thanks..... I was happy with my old nokia just for txt and phone... then wife decided she MUST have the $1400 i-phone and I inherited the i-phone 4s from her

ok - so it seems that my phone had re-set itself and I've had to go into the settings and change the sounds.... but they are not saving

I go into sounds / text tone / classic / Tri-tone but it doesn't keep it on tri-tone... it seems to be set on 'note' and I want to change it to tri-tone, but it keeps defaulting to 'note' - does anyone know how to change it and keep it on tri-tone? - there is no 'save' button

it is very frustrating!!

Mine only has Tri tone as an option for new voicemail, but I fiddled with my ringtones and they all save by just pushing the back to menu setting button (top left)?

thanks - that's what I have done, but it keeps on going back to 'note' .... it won't save 'tri-tone' or any other tone for that matter....

I don't have tritone on my iphone 6....

I don't have tritone on my iphone 6....

No - it won't save anything else.... it is stuck on note - regargless of what sound I select

all I know is there is a software update waiting, but vodafone said not to download it is it is not compatible with the 4s (words to that effect) and will stuff the phone up

Stuff the phone up? I think they may mean it may potentially run a bit slower but honestly how would an update otherwise "stuff" the phone up - if this was the case Apple wouldn't be releasing the update.

We've still got some old iPhone 4S' at work. Been through all the updates, they're not stuffed up.

I think my phone might be playing up though because it says I have a message and I've gone through all the txts and there's no 'unread' txt there - and I still can't change the text tone....

when my wife had the phone last year she did an update and after that the phone was playing up, so she went to vodafone and they restored it to the version / update before and they said not to download the new update because somethings on the phone will not work properly.

all I want to do is change the text tone, but it won't let me
