I have it on good authority that the final price will include GST.

I'm picking pricing details will be released either on Friday the 4th or Monday the 7th and Vodafone will massily hype up that week prior to release date.  Makes sense really as they will want as much media attention as possible during that week.

I'll stop now. I like my job.
Can you at least tell us if number portability will be supported?  (E.g. I have an 021 number currently ported to Telecom)

No reason that I know of why number portability won't work... feel free to bring in your old Telecom phone and upgrade/swap over to an iPhone. Anyone else know why that wouldn't work?

Cheers

Paul

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

johnr: Number porting is number porting not device related!
I was thinking more of portability being limited by the conditions of whatever the plans are going to be rather than the device.  I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't permit it but you can never tell.

Number porting is number porting not device related!

So if you want a 027 number on a iphone 3G I can see no issue

MSISDN (number) is attached to IMSI which is on SIM

Let's just say if you have a number and you want to port it in to Vodafone you can. Go right ahead, caller.

Whether you can get an iPhone to put it on is another matter, but that's not a porting issue, that's a "do I want to get out and queue" issue.

Without disclosing the prices before the planned release date, could you just tell us when the new pricing will be released on the website, so we know when and where to look?

Surley Vodafone is not going to wait right untill release day the 11th before even annoucing the price of the device and any associated plans?
