johnr: Number porting is number porting not device related!I was thinking more of portability being limited by the conditions of whatever the plans are going to be rather than the device. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't permit it but you can never tell.

No reason that I know of why number portability won't work... feel free to bring in your old Telecom phone and upgrade/swap over to an iPhone. Anyone else know why that wouldn't work?
