While exchange is working on my iphone, it doesn't seem to be pushing as such. My calendar and contacts are syncing, and email is appearing in my mailbox when i press the Mail button...however it doesn't show up with a new mail notification without me going into the mailbox. which to me is the same as pull email. is this how iphone exchange push is supposed to work?
edit: having tested a bit - it seems gprs push works perfectly. when I send an email to myself from another account, the email is pushed to my iphone and appears with a notification without me having to do anything. choice!
however, I'd like this functionality with Wifi as well - as I'm much more likely to be connected to Wifi than anything else (home/work/hotspots) however, if this is how it works I shall suffer in relative silence until. but if anyone knows a way to get it to notify properly in wifi mode please update :)

Ive done a bit of research on this is issue and found this.
A quick update. If you recall I am testing using QSynchronization to copy a public folder (shared) calendar to a personal one.
At most respects this is working fine.
I do however seem to have a further related issue - the calendar contains appointments of my colleagues (i.e. appointments that I need to see in the calendar but am not attending myself). The iPhone creates invitations to all of these appointments for me when it shouldn't - because the appointment was not created by me.

Surely iPhone should look at the appointment detail and give me an invite only if I am an attendee ?
