JayADee: Got a Pro 11 64 and a Dux Plus case which is nice and rigid.
Edit: facial rec is awesome.

The problem I have found with facial rec on an ipad, is that I never have it close enough to my face, or at the right angle to work. So I always have to move in more. Touch ID is better IMO. But the future is likely full screen touch ID, and probably facial rec for increased security.

Try redoing Face ID and move your head around. Mine works even in the dark laying sideways (reading in bed). Occasionally I am blocking the camera with my hand and have to move my hand because I almost always have it in landscape. Face ID on the iPad and surface is one of my favourite tech things.

Thanks, I have tried redoing it a few times, but it often says I am too far away and to move closer, so I often just end up typing in the passcode. I agree it is cool tech though, but IMO an inscreen fingerprint sensor would be superior and quicker  for basic logins, as you have to touch the screen anyway. The good thing about the ipad pro is how they are releasing a lot of new features with future ipad OS versions, which will make it far better than it is now, including ability to access files on external cards via USB C properly, and the possibility of proper mouse support too. Although ios 13 does have some mouse support, it looks like it is more of an accessibility feature than anything.
