The app is working as it should be on my iPhone now. Just needed to wait for it to pick up new data from the server.

Great little app and I can't wait to see what further functionality gets added in future releases!

Yup, I have been busy getting the observations data in there. It looks sweet, I'll post a picture on www.orsome.co.nz soon.  I have also got the snow reports done. I'm hoping to get the sunrise/set stuff done before I submit this away, but I am in two minds if I should just let it go as is, so this can get into your hands while the snow data is still of value.

I've added in the extra urban areas, and Hail icon that was left out of first version too. So no more eMails about that please.  :-)

Peter a ? about secondary ports.
I assume when Hamilton is included in next update that Raglan will be associcated with this ??

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Raglan is calculated as an offset from Port Taranaki.  On a future upgrade I'll use the phones location manager to show you nearby ones, so you dont have to hunt for them. But not in this version. If I keep adding features I'll never ship. :-)

Thanks Peter,
I always thought it was a secondary port of Auckland but I stand to be corrected.
Keep up the good work

Peter,
thanks for the updates, good to see that Orsome is a developer that is keen to rollout continuous improvements in their apps.

re:snow data - I guess it comes down to how long it takes Apple to approve the update once you resubmit.  I  think I still have 1.1 of nzGuide yet site mentions 1.2 was uploaded on 21st July.

edit: localisation services would be awesome for when  travelling... eg show me observations of where I am now (and tides, sunset info etc)

New Snow field data is looking good, will be good when update hits the AppStore.

Now, in collaboration with www.snow.co.nz, we are able to provide up-to-date reports from all NZ slopes. Simply tap an item in the list and see all the available data, right at your fingertips.

Fantastic, great to have a world class review site here in NZ!!

I wonder if an iClooly stand would be great for displaying/presenting apps, esp when needing to rotate.

I am definetly getting one of these! They look great and they'll make the reviewing a lot easier. I have just ordered it and had it sent to a contact in the US. :)
