Seen another user with one of the issues mentioned here of the phone connecting but not picking up a DHCP address. Might be an iOS bug of some sort. Think it was an iPhone 7 from memory.

i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere here yet, have you validated they aren't on a plan that can't hotspot?

 

 

 

 

Not sure of exact plan, is a business one, but has worked perfectly in past and theyre the only one having the issue.
