Mehrts:

I'm going to hold out for the Series 8, unless my Series 4 craps out before then.

I feel like the Series 7 doesn't have too much more to offer than what I already have with regard to hardware, except for the differences in display and blood oxygen monitoring.

Most of the differences that I can find seem to be due to the new WatchOS version, which is a moot point, since the Series 4 runs this too.

I'm in the same boat.

I'm passing on this one (unless I win one in a random giveaway or similar)

I have a series 6 Nike and it's been great for the past year...a marginally larger screen doesn't make me feel compelled to jump for this one.

I was the same between the 4 and 6 and there were more features in the upgrade to the 5 than there are from the 6-7.

Engineers are probably still on hold with customer support since 2019. Couldn't pay me to use Vodafone.

It's a bit frustrating that the cost for using the esim with Spark is so high. Would be great if they brought it to their Skinny brand.

Agree - Telstra offer this service for $5/m in Aus, where Spark are charging a significant premium for it here in NZ.

I'm using the Spark service and no complaints from a service perspective but disappointed in the monthly cost.

Currently no competing service in NZ to drive Spark to sharpen their pricing. 😦

Hopefully you will get it tomorrow.

Mine is coming from China, ETA is early next week.

Just curious what case and band did you order?

I completed my order at 1:03am and still can’t get it on launch day :(

I pre-ordered the Nike 45mm Midnight with Black Nike Sport Loop.

Mine is currently "Processed at Auckland" with DHL (after arriving at the DHL sort facility in Auckland at 04:19 this morning), fingers crossed it arrives today!

I did have an Apple order show up at 6:40pm the other day, so they must be working crazy hours at the moment.

That is, as you say, merely because Spark have no Esim competition due to the dilatory nature of the VF rollout...!

Aha, same, though mine has to make a trip down to Wellington. Perhaps a Monday delight

How have you found it? I picked mine up this morning. Really enjoying it as my first Apple Watch
