Pre-orders start Sat, 9 Oct at 1am NZDT

Who is getting a Series 7?

According to Apple, Series 7 starts at $649, $50 cheaper than the Series 6 :)

I’ll get one (have a 3 - so reasonable update) but I will not be placing an order at 1am!
I did that for the iPhone (midnight) but I’ll wait until morning for this one.

I'm going to hold out for the Series 8, unless my Series 4 craps out before then.

I feel like the Series 7 doesn't have too much more to offer than what I already have with regard to hardware, except for the differences in display and blood oxygen monitoring.

Most of the differences that I can find seem to be due to the new WatchOS version, which is a moot point, since the Series 4 runs this too.

It’s a bit annoying that we don’t get the titanium model in NZ, yet a Australia does

I know right!! Very annoying because there is absolutely no good reason why it is still not available in NZ. I believe this is why we don’t get the Hermes Watch and bands as well.

I wonder if they just make it available in countries that have Apple stores only, oh well

I have a 6 and can't really see the point of upgrading. I barely use 25% of the things it does anyway. It's biggest benefit is unlocking my phone when I have a mask on!!

My Series 4 is water or dust damaged and the touchscreen no longer responds to touch. Makes it very hard to track workouts (Siri can start them, but not finish them - go figure!) will be picking up a series 7.

I have a Series 5 and was going to order a Series 7 except now have decided against it. I got website issues at 1am and right now the Apple website is running slow with many watches out of stock (over a month wait).

I pre-ordered at 1:03am, the estimated delivery date is 21 Oct. Crazy!

Managed to snag a delivery for 19th Oct. Was a bit surprised at how quickly they got pushed back.

I was considering one to replace my series 4 but like the others, featureset isn’t compelling enough to upgrade nor the lack of Apple Watch esim from the other carriers.

Even if I was a current Spark customer, the current pricing for companion devices rules it out for me.

It's certainly taking the others a long time to catch up. I'm sure VF were meant to have done it some time ago.
