I'm leaving my Oppo Find X5 Pro behind and making the jump to the 16 Pro Max. While I have an iPad, I haven't had an iPhone since the 3s. I do look after them at work, though. The camera, new AI, screen size, and battery helped me decide between the different models.

Don't forget the 16 Plus as an option.  I've generally bought the Pro Max model, but this year's Plus has most of the Pro Max features.

Just received iPhone 16 standard from Spark. Cameras protrude than I'd like, so am happy that the standard just has two instead of three. Probably my imagination, but I reckon I can tell that's it's fractionally heavier than my 12 - so another reason I'm glad I didn't go for the much heavier 16 Pro.

I quite like the matt colour infused glass back, looks nice but the matt finish does actually make it slipperier in your hand than the glass on the front (or the back of my old iPhone 12). Don't know how it compares to titanium in term of grippiness.

Even coming from a 4 year old 12 this still seems like a very incremental upgrade without Apple Intelligence at launch. Hopefully that will make all the difference.

I'm more excited about my Apple Watch Series 10 that is awaiting me at home (accidentally had it delivered to home instead of work).
