I have 3.0 beta 5 working with no modification what so ever. Works great. I dont know how i managed without cut & paste for so long, my 3 year old sony ericsson even has it.

By the way, you need to be in the apple developer programme or know someone who is in it as they can register multiple devices under there account.

ok then, who is up for a bribe :) would be keen to get on the 3.0 bandwagon.

I'd be more than willing to pay a fee.




Toys:  iphone 4s; PS3 good times.  13inch macbook pro.   ipad 3. Ã¯Â£Â¿ 27inch imac.   airport express & time machine. raspberry-pi running xbmc and a gopro try hard.

could I not put 3.0 on and then unlock it? Or does it still require a 5.8 baseband?

The amount of work necessary just doesn't make it viable. Especially if we take into consideration the imminent WWDC. Just have patience.
