I don't think that charging the phone every day will decrease the battery life as with my 4+ year old Nokia, I charge every day and the battery lasts 4+ days.

I have been putting my iPhone on the charging dock (very handy by the way) every night and will continue to do so : )

Mine's been lasting around 24 hours max, with a few hours of browsing / light texting and calling each day.  Not very impressed, but it's hardly difficult to plug it in at work or before going to bed.

Im hardly getting a day of life, where is the push setting?

I have been having Wifi on when i am at home and on in the office but as soon as i get on the road i turn it off, 3G is on for the Telecom network, pretty sure Push is off, Locations is off unless i need the map.
My screen brightness has been at about 90% should i try it down a bit?
Should that increase the battery life?

What is yours set to UrbanGrafix?

I am on Wifi at home and Uni most of the time (I am using mail push which is under Mail, Fetch New Data and then u select it there (mine is set too 30mins))

My brightness is at about 20-25%but auto brightness is left on so that if it is in the sun it will get brighter.

Everything else is left on 24/7 - 3G, Location etc

VF network falls back to 2G in Rural areas, dont forget it connects 2100 Mhz in the major cities, outside its likely to be 2 G unless you are on XT which is 850 mhz which Iphone can connect to.
So depends on your location too and where you are likely to roam.
