Personally, for the situation that the OP is talking about, I'd get a Parrot or similar visor-mounted BT handsfree kit, a car charger and a bog-standard windscreen mounted cradle. There's a VF shop in Atrium on Elliot that had cradles that fit the iPhone for about $40 from memory - I was going to get one for my iPod.

Your other option would be an iPhone compatible FM transmitter/charger/cradle, like the Belkin Tunebase FM. They work pretty well for the iPod, so no reason why the iphone compatible version wouldn't be as good.

Try the iphone cradle and mounts at www.hands-free.co.nz plus a Motorola T505. Combined they will do everything you want except charge your iphone - you just need to get a car charger . My mate has a 505 and the FM transmitter works very well

While I'd like to trust your judgment - it appears you run the site your recommending.

Is it shamless plug time? In that case wheninromebro.com sells great... nothing haha.

Here is one site I want to plug, some pretty cheap kit and hands free sets.

http://www.chinavasion.com/

Just bought a few media players off the site and will be going back for more goods. We put in a bulk order from work.
