First backup before the iPhone takes ages and the bar doesnt appear to move for 20minutes goes faster after that. I have successfull installed iOS4 on iPhone 3GS works well. Currently just syncing. Also I lost my carrier settings for XT will the old ones work on iOS4?

Just updated my 3GS - it only took about 15 or so minutes including an update to itunes.  I've tested a few things on the iphone and so far no problems.  Nice to have a zoom in the camera now!

iPhone 3GS done. Took 50 minutes, as it had to re-optimise all 3500 photos again...grrr. But it?s great, lots of new toys to play with. It?s just like having a new phone.

But when I sync my iPad it says 3.2 is the latest version... no iOS 4 for the iPad, why not?
