CdTDroiD: So i found this video of a guy putting a little bit of scotch tape on the back of his sim card then putting it back into the iPhone and dramatically improving signal, well i gave it ago and i must say im very surprised, in my office at home i can normally get 1 bar if im lucky now i have 3 or 4... really weird i guess it just needs a little more pressure on the contacts.

It also improved my 3G download and upload speeds buy about 40%.

If you try it remember your responsible not me lol.

Video of signal bar difference?

And to stop any "he faked it" remarks I would do the following:

Get another phone and put it next to it the whole time - to show no change in location
Shoot the whole thing in one go no cuts (maybe have a watch in it too)
Show the phone without the tape on the sim, then show the phone with tape on the same sim.

That should prove it either way :)

Good luck!

I also heard if you staple a piece of brown string into the middle of the screen and hang a $2 coin wrapped in tin foil to the other end of the string will allow you to talk to aliens on Jupiter

^please don't try this though, it may damage your phone
